TERMS OF

SERVICE

General

Please ensure that your pet has been given the opportunity to relieve themselves before entering the grooming salon.

It is the owners’ responsibility to inform the groomer of any changes since the dogs last visit or of any medical conditions your pet may have.

Owners are responsible for keeping their pet up to date with their parasite treatments and vaccinations.

If your dog is known to have a parasite infection, please reschedule your appointment with at least 24hrs notice to a time when your pet is free from parasites including fleas and ticks. If fleas are found on your dog, we will ask you to collect them due to risk to other dogs in the salon. As well as the full cost of grooming there will be an additional fee of £15 for fleas and £10 for the removal of ticks. We will not be held responsible for any infection caused by tick removal.

Owners have the obligation to inform their groomer of any aggressive or nervous behaviour traits their pet may have during grooming towards humans or other animals, and we can try to accomidate this.

We reserve the right to refuse service if we believe your dog has become a danger to itself or to those within the salon. The session may be stopped and a full charge for the service may be charged.

We reserve the right to refuse any groom at any time without reason. We strongly advise you to insure your pet. While we take every reasonable precaution to prevent any harm to your pet, we will not accept any responsibility for anything which was caused rather than by negligence of the groomer.

Procedures in the grooming environment can be stressful for some dogs. The process may expose medical conditions or aggravate current ones during or after grooming. In the best interest of your pet, we may seek medical treatment if we deem necessary for whatever reason. We will do our best to contact you first. All medical treatment will be at the expense of the owner.

We will not be liable for clipper burn, minor nicks, skin irritations or after effects on extremely matted, aggressive or jumpy dogs please be aware that many dogs do not find grooming an exciting experience and may not sit still increasing the risk of minor injuries

DE-MATTING

We will do our best to groom your pet to your requirements. However, if your pet is excessively matted, they will be clipped (shaved off) with the owner’s permission.

Depending on the severity of the coat, which will be discussed during consultation, there may be an additional charge for grooming your pet in such condition.

In that case it won’t be possible to achieve the style you desire. As groomers, our primary concern is to relieve any distress or discomfort your pet may have as result of their severely or excessively matted coat.
